Dacia Sandero was the most registered vehicle in Spain in 2023, selling over 6,000 units more than its closest rival, the SEAT Arona, which was the second best-selling.
With almost 28,000 units sold, the Dacia Sandero became by far the best-selling car in 2023. It surpassed the SEAT Arona (21,639 units) and the Toyota Corolla (19,845), which comprised the top 3 best-selling cars of the year.
This marks the second time that the Dacia Sandero has claimed the throne as the best-selling car in Spain: it did so in 2020 amidst the pandemic. Since then, no other car has replicated this success. It’s also worth noting that 2023 was the best year in the last four years: it’s the first year after Covid where over 900,000 cars were sold. Specifically, 949,359 cars were registered in Spain in 2023.
